In obedience to God's calling, Faith Assembly was birthed in August, 1981 with 53 people.  Our first week's meeting was held around a backyard swimming pool (God is good).  By the following Sunday, God miraculously provided us with a facility and we began to meet in the Village Square Shopping Center just off Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill.  We continued to outgrow several buildings but God continued to provide new locations for us to meeting.  

        In 1982, the faithfulness of God was proven once again as we purchased land on Faith Blvd for our permanent home.  In August 1983, we held a groundbreaking service and reflected on how good God had been to us.  Our building project was completed and we moved into our current campus in November, 1984.  What a day of celebration that was.  We knew only God could have provided and brought to this place.  

        In August 1984, Faith Assembly became affiliated with the Assemblies of God and we are still in fellowship and under their covering.  God called us to the city of Rock Hill and as He builds His Church (the people), He is faithful to provide....Faith Assembly is a living testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness.
